Aitana Bellon

About me: I’m Aitana, based in London, currently working in digital marketing for electronic music events. My day-to-day is focused on building and managing campaigns, writing audience-facing copy, and working with promoters and venues on how their shows are communicated and sold.

Alongside that, I’ve built experience across different parts of the industry. I worked as a booking assistant with TARI Global, supporting international bookings into India and liaising with agents and promoters across markets. I’ve also worked on the ground at festivals like The Great Escape and Boomtown, mainly in artist liaison and operations roles.

I recently completed an MA in Music Business, where my final thesis (selected for publication) explored UK festivals as cultural and emotional spaces, and how authenticity and community shift as events grow and commercialise.

What I’m most interested in is how live music spaces shape culture, and how that can be maintained as scenes grow. I’m particularly drawn to independent and underground environments, and to the people trying to build and preserve them.

I also DJ, which keeps me connected to the scenes I work in. I love it as a hobby, a craft I work on as a mean to have an outlet for creativity.
