Anja Kathrine Laland Gyberg

About me: My background is in concert and event photography, editorial management and dissemination work. I’ve worked both freelance and within the university sector in my hometown Kristiansand, Norway. I am now looking to expand further into TM and PM related gigs.

Currently I work as a Venue Manager for a non-profit festival in Norway, alongside a part-time role venue managing at a local conference and concert venue. In 2024, my husband (a sound and multi-technician) and I founded our own production company. More recently, I have taken on a major development project, leading the creation of a new small venue as well as overseeing the leasing and development of office spaces within the same building for cultural and creative businesses.

Through different projects I’ve got some additional experience rigging venues, stages and diverse runner jobs. Parallell to working with media and production I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Public Health Sciences writing a thesis on freelance work health during Covid-19.

I’ve already worked on several international projects where I was responsible for logistics and planning, though not yet on full-scale live tours.
