Walk & Talk at Ancienne Belgique, Brussels

WILM is super excited to invite members to a Walk and Talk production tour in Brussels on Sunday 24th November, where you’ll have the chance to meet the touring crew of a major production and see what goes on behind the scenes!

This time, Production Coordinator Katie Macdonald will lead the event. She has 22 years of experience in live music as a tour manager, production manager, and promoter representative. She also runs her own company Well On Tour as a nutritional therapist and health coach, dedicated to preventing burnout within the music industry, particularly in touring. There is a big focus on the artist’s well-being during the tour, emphasizing nutrition, yoga, and overall health 🧘‍♂️

The stage setup features elaborate set designs, carpentry, many lighting fixtures, and various staging elements. We’ll also be joined by lighting designer Tess Minor, who will be part of the discussion.

Whether you are a newcomer or more experienced you are very welcome to join us and learn all about what goes into making a big show at an indoor venue happen!

Please note: This event is for people interested in live concert production – technical and logistics and NOT a fan experience. We would therefore like to know a bit about your previous experience and interest in live events and expect you to answer a couple of questions with your registration. This info will be passed to the production to make sure that those attending get the best experience.

The Walk & Talk will start at 12:00 and end at 13:30. (This event does not give admission to the show in the evening)

Please arrive 15 min before the walkthrough starts to allow enough time to get into the venue. We ask that you kindly do not take any photos or videos at this event.
We will provide attendees with additional information in an email before the event (meeting location and contact details).

This event is limited to 15 spaces – if sold out you can join our waiting list.
***If you can no longer attend please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite ASAP so someone else can get your spot.

This event isf or WILM members. For just €20 per year, you can become a member and enjoy free access to all our events, along with the opportunity to create a profile on our website to increase your visibility within the industry.
We’d love to welcome you to the community!
