Austeja Lasaite

Hello, 
My name is Austeja Lasaite and I am an event professional, living between Denmark, UK and Lithuania.
I have a deep passion for music and live events. I always get excited about a live performance and everything that goes with it – the planning, the setup, the soundcheck, the show, the moments after. I treat it as the most important thing in the world, no matter which day in a row it is. 

Besides of working in my corporate event job, I have been putting myself into the live act world as much as I can: for 5 years I have been making events with Pleasure Control where I mostly focused on event management, visual creation, lights and lasers; I have been working and volunteering at a venue called Loppen, where I would most often do lights for shows (I have lit up Making Friends, the Pharcyde, Militarie Gun, Teenage Wrist, Snail Mail, etc.) as well as venue manage, book shows, sometimes work the door, sometimes – at the bar, sometimes cook food for 30+ people or take clean up shifts to prepare for a new show.
Apart of this, I have been working as a LD in festivals like Copenhell, One Love, Nasty Cut fest, Distortion; making and working at merch stands while touring with Making Friends. 
In the past I have also sometimes worked as stagehand.

I have always wanted to be more involved in the kitchen of live events, and I am incredibly happy to have found this organisation. I am quite tech-savvy (I understand wiring, am good with computers, can solder cables), am always learning (my next goal is to become a sound technician), have a good work ethic, am very sociable and caring. 
I hope my skills could be useful for the upcoming gigs.
