Hayley Hruska

About me: My name is Hayley, I’m based in Toronto? Canada. For the past decade I have been a commercial studio photographer, and finding your place in a male dominated industry with no union like we have in film has been climbing a never ending mountain to say the least. I’m a point where I really want to pivot my career and feel like I have so many talents and things that come naturally to me that aren’t being utilized. I’m the friend that the first question is always, what’s the next concert you’re going to? I have always loved live music, and feel this strong pull to be on the production side and I’m not quite sure where to start with that. I have produced hundreds of my own photoshoots, coordinating with clients, mood boards, call sheets, organizing people and communicating with different departments. I have also produced a handful of my own, live burlesque shows in my city and have been heavily involved with that side of love event and ticketing production. My ideal role, would be working my way up to tour manager, artist liaison or production manager which I need to work my way up and learn all the ins and outs of touring/event production. I have many friends in music, from recording, touring, song writers, I’ve expressed my interest getting into live production and they always say I would be such a great fit for that because I have such an outgoing personality. I feel like I would be such a great fit because I’m so patient, calm under pressure, great at organizing large groups of people and my attention to detail and planning travel would just be such a natural fit for me. I’m one of the hardest working people, and thrive in a group setting where everyone’s working towards the same goal. I’m such a positive person, who just loves to be around people and I would be such an asset to getting things done as a problem solver. I’m just such a giving person with a heart of gold, who makes sure everyone around them is heard and seen, and I’m looking for the place I fit
