Kate Upsher

About me: Hi there! 

I’ve just moved to the UK and am hoping find my place in the events industry here! I am extremely passionate about all things events and shows but in particular have always been extremely passionate about lighting! My work experience has been in Live music, theatre, pre recorded television as well as church ministry. Ive worked as a lighting technician, lighting programmer, designer, Followspotter, stage hand, theatre swing, set electrician, and have basic training in assistant stage management and audio in case I ever need to use it. 

I would love to make connections with other females in the industry as well as build connections to help me find work as im finding it difficult to be put on jobs without knowing the right people! Im so passionate about ladies working in this industry and I have been through so much to get to where I am today and am so proud I can enter worksites confidently as a woman not feeling intimidated by the boys. We all have a part to play, girls and boys and we need eachother! We just need more woman to believe in themselves! Anyway! Keen to connect with anyone!
