Lea Varoquier

I’m Lea (she/her), a Lighting Director/Operator and show designer based in NRW, Germany. I turn music into light that feels like a story and a safe place. For Bibiza’s “Wiener Schickeria Tour” I designed and planned the production and operated both the first and second legs—handling advancing, programming, and adapting the rig to very different rooms each night.

In August 2024 I survived a terror attack. It forced me to step away from regular on-site work; I haven’t returned to formal duties since. Still, I remained involved behind the scenes—co-designing and planning Bibiza’s 2025 “Bis einer weint” tour, traveling with the team when possible, supporting where I could, and caring for artists and crew like a steady “tour mom.” I’m vigilant about safety for everyone on and off stage, and I value clear comms, inclusive crews, and calm leadership.
