So, what do we have coming up for our dear community:
π©π° Silkeborg, Denmark – Seminar in association with “Proud Artist”
For once we had teamed up with a project that aims to support upcoming artists. (Normally our focus is fully on the backstage). However, we cherish every opportunity to create a more efficient and constructive dialogue between the artist and the crew in order to optimize the workflow of a show across the stage. At this seminar we were teaching about how to write a tech rider, how to perform the ‘good soundcheck’ and talking about who is doing what backstage – and not least why!
Our CEO had a chat with the organisers, Proud Artist prior to the event (in Danish – sorry).

π©πͺ Walk & Talk in Berlin and Frankfurt with Linkin Park
Rebecca Berger from Berlin got to shadowing the load out for Linkin Park
Here is what Rebecca had to say about the Walk & Talk:
I just wanted to sincerely thank you – truly and wholeheartedly – for such an incredible experience. It’s honestly hard to put into words how much this day meant to me.
From the very beginning, I felt warmly welcomed and genuinely included. The way Badge brought me into the team with such ease, kindness, and openness is something I’ll never forget. It was such a pleasure to witness your workflow up close – the professionalism, the calmness under pressure, the seamless coordination – it was nothing short of inspiring. I learned so much simply by watching, listening, and trying to keep up.
The first day alone was already such a highlight – so full of energy, insight, and human connection. Thank you for making it possible for us girls to be part of it. It felt like more than just an opportunity to observe – it felt like being welcomed into something real and meaningful.
It wasn’t just about learning the technical side of things, but about feeling the spirit, the passion, and the genuine care that runs through the whole team. The way you all work together with such fluidity and support for one another makes even the busiest moments feel light and effortless – and that’s the highest compliment I can give.
Thank you again for everything. It was a truly special day that I’ll carry with me for a long time, and I hope our paths cross again – in Berlin or wherever the road may lead.
With heartfelt thanks, Rebecca
We must say, these Walk & Talks are truly priceless – as captured perfectly in this testimonial from one of the participants:
“I just got home from the Walk and Talk today in Frankfurt, and I wanted to thank you for organizing this event. I had been feeling stuck for a long time, and today’s session made me feel like I finally found a way out of this deep tunnel of confusion and frustration. Everyone was really kind and caring. It was a very informative session, packed with new knowledge to absorb. It is very rare, almost impossible, for me to find opportunities like this back at home, so this event meant a lot to me. I am truly grateful for this opportunity and hope to attend more events like this in the future!”
A heartfelt thank you from the WILM community to the entire crew from Linkin Park (including @Nadima Nievieling Production), and not least to Assistant Tour Director Fiona Marie Booth for all the work she was putting into this and for opening the doors and welcoming us into the unique core that forms the heart of a concert production β€οΈ

We had the absolute pleasure of joining Production Manager Alice James and Festival Republic once again in Gunnersbury Park What a treat to meet the incredible team behind a major festival and get a peek into the backstage magic – from cross-team communication to the huge logistics that make it all happen. Such valuable insight for anyone working – or aspiring to work backstage! Big thanks to Alice & Festival Republic – we’re already looking forward to next time

π©π° Behind the scenes with the Ed Sheeran production
What a Treat β¨ We had been so fortunate to get a behind-the-scenes look at the incredible machinery powering Ed Sheeran’s show. The complexity of this magical production was truly fascinating, which we got to experience up close as we met the teams behind Sound, Light, Video, SFX, Pyro and Automation
A real highlight was meeting the TAIT duo who ‘live’ beneath the stage, running the ground automation πͺ Equally exciting was to hear from the Backliners how it all comes together on stage – including when Ed creates his famous loops! Massive kudos to the entire crew behind this spectacular show – thank you all for welcoming us so warmly. And kudos to Mr. Sheeran for looking after his team with extra care for mental wellbeing
A special thank you to PM Helen, Site Coordinator Laura, Local Promoter Xenia, and Head of Stage Production Chris for making this possible!
